About Yusr Relief
Yusr Relief exists to make a hard path lighter. We are a humanitarian organization working with communities in Gaza who are living through conflict, disaster, and poverty; not as outsiders who arrive and leave, but as partners who stay until people can stand on their own.
The name Yusr means ease. That is the work: meet urgent need with speed and care, then help restore the conditions for a life with safety, opportunity, and hope.

Our Mission
Yusr is committed to save lives, reduce suffering, and foster self-reliance by delivering emergency response, sustainable development, and advocacy for those affected by conflict, disaster, and poverty. We work in solidarity with local communities to create a world where every person can live with safety, opportunity, and hope. In the first hours of a crisis, that means reaching people with what they need to survive. In the months that follow, it means walking with communities as they rebuild homes, livelihoods, and the right to decide their own way forward. We do not replace local leadership. We stand beside it. The name Yusr means ease: our promise is to lighten the burden, and to leave people stronger than we found them.
Our Vision
Yusr envisions a just and compassionate world where all communities are empowered to live safely, sustainably, and with hope for the future. We see families who can sleep without fear. Neighborhoods that recover after disaster and stay standing. Children who grow up with a chance, not only a ration. A future in which dignity is ordinary, and no one has to wait for the world to notice them before they are helped.
